Depends on the disposition of forces. The Romans often fought successfully on multiple fronts at once: Rhine, Danube and Persian frontiers, and unlike the Romans our core territory is behind thousands of miles of ocean.
However, I have no doubt that the current regime will half-ass things enough to get involved but not enough to win.
