Permanent Latrine Orderly!When in the USAF back in 1966-1969 we kept our barracks nice and clean. Once clean it was easy to keep clean. Then one day they said we needed to move to a different barracks, the one used by the Apes(Air Police) who were moved somewhere else.
Talk about a nasty barracks! The showers had mold growing all over them, soap scum was everywhere! We managed to get them clean by putting bleach in a spray bottle and killing the mold, then came the cleanup of scraping the thick layer of soap scum in the shower.
I sometimes think they moved the barracks around just so we could clean the APE barracks.
