Neuroscientists from the University of Maryland have come a step closer to understanding how disorders such as autism and schizophrenia develop in children, opening the door for potential new treatments.
Inflammation in the brain during early childhood has been previously linked to autism and schizophrenia. But the mechanisms behind this link have been unclear.
Now Maryland researchers have identified how this inflammation can affect human brain cells and their development, offering a potential mechanism for this association. Their results were published on October 12 in the journal Science Translational Medicine.
In their research, the team conducted a post-mortem analysis of the brain tissues from 17 children—eight who had died from conditions related to inflammation and nine who had been in accidents.
"Inflammation can be induced by many factors," Seth Ament, an associate professor in psychiatry at Maryland's Medicine Institute of Neuroscience Discovery, told Newsweek. Ament and Margaret McCarthy are co-lead authors of the study.
"The donors in our sample experienced acute inflammation from causes such as encephalitis and severe asthma attacks. In addition, some donors were identified as having experienced inflammation because their medical records indicated the use of anti-inflammatory drugs," he said. Previous studies have shown that babies born with abnormalities in the cerebellum—the part of the brain involved in movement, balance, motor learning and speech—are more likely to develop neurodevelopmental disorders. So, the team decided to focus their research on this area.

Sounds like a decent life. Humanity isn’t mature enough for social media or direct democracy.
Nobody will ever admit it, and parents that did it to their kids will never admit being duped or the reason their kids died.
Meaning that everybody is now ‘autistic’.
=c=c=
Or everyoe is now “Deplorable”?
Yes. Vaccines. Especially the vaccine “cocktails”.
Also used to rationalize bad behavior. Those kids used to be called brats.
Be skeptical of all vaccines. None have gone through real trials. Big Pig Pharma skated because they run the Federal agencies. Revolving door style......Go see Steve Kirsch for more>>> https://kirschsubstack.com/ (I used to think the anti-vaxxers were nuts) (Was before the C19 Scamdemic)

If vaccines don’t cause autism, then how do you explain all this evidence?
We see an odds ratio of 5 when comparing autism in vaxxed vs. unvaxxed in MULTIPLE studies. The before:after odds are even more extraordinary. How can we ignore all this evidence?

There needs to me more research.

Btw, you might be interested to know that among the Amish the incidence of Autism is only 1-in-271.
Well aware. Great contribution.
Thanks!
You are aware? That Steve Kirsch is worth 100 million on up from being in tech way back as far as search engines and the optical mouse. Anyways.....
Steve does 100x more good with his net worth, than Bill Gates does with his Foundation and personal money. Which must be 200 billion or so. What a contrast!!!
Steve is all in on his outrage over all vaccines. And the harm they are doing to babies and children. Especially autism and sudden infant death syndrome.
“Btw, you might be interested to know that among the Amish the incidence of Autism is only 1-in-271.”
You prolly know. Steve Kirsch has been doing some of that research on the Amish.
Back in the day when my children were little, the doc gave a pink sheet of all the possible complications of vaccines. Death was on that list. Bèing young and dumb, i threw them away. Do they still give that information to parents? Somehow, I think not.
Hadn’t seen that…yet.
Yup. Thanks.
The first autistic person I met, and the only severely autistic person, had never been vaccinated.
After further review of their findings, I’ve modified my take on the study:
I now believe that the research validates all of the so-called ‘tin-hat’ theories governing childhood vaccination schedules and autism (my position EXPLICITLY)...but don’t expect ‘science’ to validate that view due to their inability to see the forest through the trees.
