If you went to bed at halftime of the Stanford-Colorado game Friday night, you're forgiven...The Colorado Buffaloes were hosing the visiting Stanford Cardinal, 29-0...There was little reason to expect that Stanford, losers of four straight, could flip the script in the second half...Final score: Stanford 46, Colorado 43 (2 OT)...It was the largest comeback in Stanford history and the largest blown lead in Colorado history.

The Buffs broke out the weed too early LOL
Deon: “Show me the love”
Colorado football fans: “What’s in it for us?”
His last win (by 3 points) came against Arizona State, which is the worst team in the PAC-12.
His most recent loss was against Stanford, a team that had lost its last four games.
Maybe Sanders should stop all of his “it’s all about proud black men” playing losing football and just coach football.
Well, Colorado is much better than year before. The hype is too much....and swagger is only good(actually- a bit obnoxious) when you win.
If Sanders players become good men and a winning team, well that’s good. If he tones down the swagger even better. Be humble but very, very good is a better mindset. IMHO
Maybe he can’t coach.
I was and am a fan of Prime as a football and baseball player and media personality.
but that doesn’t mean he can coach.
It reminds of the circus John Chaney ran at Temple.
Give them bread and circuses...
You’ve got to be kidding (yep, I was one of those who went to bed at halftime). Well, at least we still have the Broncos……aw crap!
He had a 27-6 record at Jackson State, and they were Southwestern Athletic Conference champions in both 2021 and 2022.
So he’s had some success as a coach.
LOL!
I did worse...I quit the youtube game recap at 29-0...
Poor Broncos...I feel the pain: I got the Panthers.
I caught the replay. Coach Deion did not do anything stupid such as got to a prevent defense. His players just could not hold Stanford.
It is clear the coaching before Deion just plain sucked. This is proven out by their record last year. It takes more than a few months or even a year to teach proper coverage (i.e., secondary) play that the college level.
They will get there.
Did not really like or dislike Colorado before this year. Frankly barely paid attention to them.
Once lived around the corner from Coach Deion. Never met him but saw him jog by many times. Always waved, he waved back. Deion did a lot of REAL good with his money both in the community and for truly at risk kids, and I am not talking just throwing money. So kind of a fan of Colorado now.
That said, GO BUCKEYES!
Sorry about typos. It’s early and I haven’t had my caffeine yet...
He can coach and he’s a good coach. He just doesn’t have the talent yet and one of his best players has been on the sidelines with an injury until last night.
His defense is not very good. Before the game he was actually very complimentary of Stanford and their head coach, Troy Taylor, saying the team was underrated.
Its like the NY Jets- people bought into a lot of nonsensical hype without looking at the entire picture. In CU’s case its a lack of overall talent.
“If Sanders players become good men...”
Deion was a terrific 2-sport athlete with a personality that allowed him to be successful beyond his athletic career.
His son has the athletic talent but lacks the personality. If Deion Sanders was wise, as a coach, and more importantly as a parent, he would take away his son’s sunglasses and Mercedes until after he signs a pro contract and is on his own.
Sheduer Sanders is the “prime” example of the problem with the NCAA NIL rule (Name Image and Likeness). He was born on 3rd base and thinks he hit a triple.
I was all for sanders until I heard that nonsense. If I were a white player on that team I’d be in the transfer portal.
Colorado may not win another game.
5 wins and 7 losses
More likely
4 wins and 8 losses
what’s the fuss? They suck.
I think most were shown the door last spring,
“Since arriving to begin his tenure as coach of the Buffaloes in early December, 52 scholarship players have entered the transfer portal with 43 bolting since the conclusion of the spring game last month. Well over 80% of Colorado’s 2022 roster is officially moving on, and Sanders recently explained the moves.
“We already know what we have coming in,” Sanders said on the Pat McAfee Show. “Y’all just don’t know what we have ... There is no way we can put new furniture in this beautiful home if we don’t clean out the old furniture. And that is not a shot.”
“ If you went to bed at halftime of the Stanford-Colorado game Friday night, you’re forgiven”
Thank you
I went to sleep what can I say it was runaway at half it started late
