Wow.
The dark sky site I used to go to years ago was so dark we could just make out M33 with binoculars, as a faint glow. It’s a low surface brightness object, so it’s rather difficult to observe in a smaller telescope, but it was fun just to be able to spot it.
Depending upon your location, you would need at least an 8” diameter lens or mirror to start seeing some detail. The less light pollution, the better.
