People get fooled by Tucker. He is a “personality” sometimes his take will be pro American, anti globalist, a take that Conservative Americans can support.
Sometimes he pivots into leftist positions he has held for years. This is one of the later positions, one that is poorly thought out & reflexive rather than logical.

That's right. Tucker is a media personality first. His politics is second place to his making his living in the news.

Much of the time he has his finger is in the wind for what is trending now. If he has to, he will explain away tomorrow what he said today.

He's a skeptic about a lot of things. Liberal and leftist things, but also some things that conservatives and Republicans say. It wasn't wrong to have some skepticism about Bush-McCain-Romney era politics, and especially foreign policy and military interventionism.
