Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Dniprov met with representatives of the Ukrainian World Congress.
The meeting was attended by Stefan Romaniw, Vice President of the Ukrainian World Congress, Chairman of the Commission on Recognizing the Holodomor as Genocide Against the Ukrainian People, and Serhiy Kasyanchuk, Director of the Ukrainian World Congress Mission to Ukraine.
Issues related to the commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine, the genocide of the Ukrainian people, were discussed. In particular, the participants discussed the organization of thematic events in Ukraine and abroad involving representatives of Ukrainian communities in other countries.
The parties discussed holding thematic international events and actions. The interlocutors also paid attention to the role of the Ukrainian Diaspora in the process of recognizing the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine as an act of genocide by the world’s states.
