scalise and mccarthy already have 6 votes and they’re only on the G’s -
what’s going to happen here.. do we get jeffries??
Seems a bunch of republicans not on the repuke list are jumping ship and voting for “other.”
some house members will change their votes if there is another vote - other s might vote present to lower the threshold?
VOTE #2 coming up. Gonna be a long day. It seems of the 13 other, most are republicans.
Are you crazy? Then it would be a full blown assault rifle.
A full blown "assault rifle" doesn't need a sight, according to the Left. One points in the general direction and sprays bullets all over the place and mows everybody down - especially the children.
at least Lucas voted for Jordan. He was on the list.

EXCLUSIVE: NY AG Letitia James Failed To Disclose Six Figure, Dark Money Loan Possibly Tied To Anti-Trump Media Operatives

The details for the $770,000 loan that AG James has been hiding and withholding from her financial disclosures are nonexistent in Jamesâs 34 page 11/3/2017 mortgage agreement that was recorded with the Office of the Register within New York Cityâs Department of Finance. Additionally, James never mentioned the $770,000 loan from French in her financial disclosure form when she was running for office to become New Yorkâs Attorney General. Her failure to disclose this loan on her financial disclosure forms is not only unethical, but it is highly illegal. This dark money loan fails to conform to the norms of typical and lawful loan agreements, which is likely why James has gone through great lengths to hide this loan, and the true identity of the funder of the loan.

What Trump Canât Talk About in Election Obstruction Case
https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/what-trump-can-t-talk-about-in-election-obstruction-case-1.1985893
(Bloomberg) — The text of a new partial gag order against Donald Trump released on Tuesday outlines what exactly a judge has prohibited the former president from saying in public or online as the federal election obstruction case against him in Washington moves forward.
Hereâs what it says:
Trump can continue to criticize US District Judge Tanya Chutkan, who is presiding over the trial and entered the order. But he canât criticize her staff or âother supporting personnelâ in the federal courthouse.
He can no longer attack Special Counsel John âJackâ Smith or prosecutors in Smithâs office, a ban Chutkan said applies to lawyersâ family members.
Trump can criticize the âcampaign platforms or policiesâ of former Vice President Mike Pence or any other âcurrent political rivals,â but he canât discuss Penceâs role or expected testimony as a potential witness in the criminal case.
Heâs barred from making public statements about any other âreasonably foreseeable witness or the substance of their testimony,â a list that includes former top administration officials â Attorney General Bill Barr and former Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, for instance â and other key officials who surrounded Trump or were in contact with in the months after the 2020 election.
Trump also canât âdirectâ anyone else to make the type of statements that heâs now barred from making.
Chutkanâs order on its face doesnât just apply to Trump â it covers his attorneys and prosecutors, too â but it was issued after the judge found that his barrage of attacks on the case posed âa significant and immediate riskâ of intimidating witnesses and jeopardizing the safety of the âpublic servantsâ involved.
âThe bottom line is that equal justice under law requires the equal treatment of criminal defendants; Defendantâs presidential candidacy cannot excuse statements that would otherwise intolerably jeopardize these proceedings,â Chutkan wrote.

The former president has vowed to appeal. His lawyers argued that any new restrictions on what he can say about the election obstruction case â one of four indictments pending against him â would violate his First Amendment free speech rights, especially as he runs for president again in 2024. Trump also is under a limited gag order in New York, where a judge presiding over a civil fraud case against him barred him from posting about court personnel after he disparaged a law clerk online and shared her photo.
The wording of Chutkanâs order will matter if Trump does take the fight to the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit. She didnât cast as wide a net as the government wanted, allowing Trump to continue criticizing the Justice Department, the Biden administration, and the prosecution effort. She also said he could make critical comments about Washington and the people who live there, but warned those could hurt any future effort by his lawyers to argue to move the trial elsewhere because of pretrial publicity or prejudice among the potential juror pool.
âDefendantâs statements pose sufficiently grave threats to the integrity of these proceedings that cannot be addressed by alternative means, and it has tailored its order to meet the force of those threats,â Chutkan wrote.
Within hours of Chutkanâs announcement on Monday afternoon, Trump was back on the attack on his Truth Social platform, describing the case as a âWITCH HUNTâ in a post declaring he would appeal. Early Tuesday he posted a message accusing âCrooked Joe Bidenâ â a phrase the judge parsed during Mondayâs hearing and gave him the green light to use â of orchestrating the criminal cases against him. He hasnât made any more public attacks on court staff in New York since the gag order was entered there but has continued to criticize the civil fraud case, telling reporters it was âriggedâ as he arrived at the courthouse on Tuesday.

Chutkan said that if Trump or anyone else in the case violated her order, she would âconsider sanctions as may be necessary.â She signaled she would be independently keeping tabs on activity outside her courtroom, saying she would review possible violations that the parties brought to her attention or âsua sponte,â meaning on her own authority. Her order didnât specify what type of sanctions she might impose.
