Another video on the problems Russia is having in Avdiivka. Ukraine has held and fortified Avdiivka since before they war.They can't advance, and Russia can't take it. To the north east are small lakes and streams creating choke points. To the south west are open fields, those are kill zones for artillery. To the west, its all urban fighting.
Russia's efforts to draw Ukraine from other areas, create a opportunity for Ukraine to give Russia another Pyrrhic victory like Bakhmut. The Russian army views men as expendable, all their equipment they are losing is irreplaceable.
