I would definitely sleep in a pod like that while traveling if the price was reasonable. Say $30-50 a night.

Most conventional hotel rooms are well over $200/night.

When traveling, all I need is a place to sleep and take a shower. I can even do without the "free" breakfast of powdered eggs and microwaved bacon.
