Never mind the teacher beating our ass our parents would have come up to that school with a switch and beat our ass all the way home!!!
Now his sorry ass parents want to sue the cops? Will they sue when he's older and it's too late? His parents are part of the problem
How many drugs was the child provided by the school system? Ever thought about that?
As an autistic this kid appears to be autistic to me. That is not an excuse for his behavior. But what is most wrong here is that this kid was apparently in a mainstream school instead of special ed where he belongs and where the teachers are better trained to handle such kids.
This never would have gone that far in the 60’s when I was in elementary school. I would have been grabbed by a teacher, counselor, principal and dragged to the office where they called my mom for permission to give me a swat, she would have told them to make it count, because it aint nothing like what he will get when he gets home...
The boy is probably in the right.
“Education” and “Medical” are populated with Jack-booted thugs who want to persecute unarmed taxpayers.
Here's hoping that he has one of episodes at home with them when he's 6'4" and 250-plus pounds.
If you think he is a pain in the ass now, wait until he turns 18. If he hakes it that long without someone killing him. There is no doubt that he is going to murder at least one person before that, probably more. I will imagine that he will broken mama’s jaw and noes before he reaches 12 years of age. just looking at how he had that hissy fit and the language he used, he will be bad news for someone. Just glad it is not me.
Special ed kid/behavior disorder appears so and in a special ed classroom with adults with pads to help manage out of control students and protect themselves. Cuffing him for his own protection as well as others.... time to calm down.
Kids throwing tantrums need spanking.
But now one would be arrested for spanking, so the cops are called.
Waste of resources and ignores what cops are really for.
“”parents would have come up to that school””
I taught Middle School math in the early 2000s. This school had excellent discipline and backup. I remember one year getting wonderful input / advice from some of the parents. Advice like ‘put my child in the front row’ and the exact opposite from another parent ‘whatever you do, do not put my child in the front row.’ One mom stated I could call her if her son was acting up. So...the next time he did, I continued teaching while walking to my desk. I dialed the number, she answered, and I said to the student the call was for him. He got a funny look on his face, so I announced to the entire class :it’s your mom.’ ALL of the students immediately sat up straight. One student stated’ you can’t call my mom!’ with a vocal tone of please, please don’t ever call my mom.
That kid looks like a likely candidate for future criminal and has not been raised properly.
One can argue about the absurdity of handcuffing a 9 year old but this is what liberalism has spawned.
The teachers feel they can’t do anything for an out of control child so they call the police (how about expelling the child and calling the parents?.
The police are often not too bright or adaptable and in this case felt they had to handcuff a nine year old.
This situation is indicative of our present day culture.
Sad and pathetic.
Reminds me of YMCA summer camp when I was a counselor in college. 9-year-old kid went absolutely guanopathic, hitting and biting. The senior counselor tied her hands behind her with a belt and left her on the bus for about 10 minutes. She calmed down, day went fine after that. Now, I don’t know if she murdered her college roommate later, but it solved the problem that day.
Too bad they didn’t gag and hog tie him too.
I hope the judge throws it out of court.
However, any reference to the child's gender was redacted as well. We can see it's a male child but all the "his" or "he" or "him" pronouns were blacked out.
The world has gone crazy.
The problem is our society. Teachers are afraid of touching kids anymore for fear of lawsuits so they call cops, who have no business being called to school for child discipline. Parents aren’t notified and should be the first call.
My teachers or principal back in the day would whip out and brandish “Blisterwood”, the name of the paddle they used, which was often enough to calm the situation.
Doing this to a child is unconscionable for any reason whatsoever. This automatically puts the belief in his own mind that he is a future thug and criminal. I have no doubt he will now live up to his own sad image of himself.
Nothing wrong with what the cops did here. And the most telling clue is that it worked. Between the fear of the cuffs and the teacher talk the kid settled down.
The parents who wish to capitalize on their child’s bad behavior are real low life’s. They should get the bill for all the trouble.
Cops should be provided with strait jackets so the aggressors cannot injure themselves and others ... an appropriate medical intervention method.
Is he one of those 6’3 nine yr olds?
