Rabies scares me. I avoid all animals.
Rabies is pretty scary and if you see a wild animal such as a bobcat or raccoon out in daylight you can be pretty sure they are rabid. I haven’t heard how many children were injured or their ages but that had to be terrifying for them and their parents.
A few years ago, my mother walked out onto her deck and there was a raccoon on the steps snarling at her. She immediately called us and hubby went over and set a trap and caught it later that day. The raccoon was dispatched and its body burnt to cinders.
