The only "pressure" America can apply to Israel is to withhold its welfare check. Israel can eliminate all American pressure by paying its own way.

It's no different than when the government attaches conditions and means testing to domestic welfare payments. If you want the welfare, you must jump through the hoops.

When Israel complains of American pressure, it's saying that it wants the money without strings. But still, it wants the money.
