"This is unusual considering Kyiv often turns to the Israeli authorities for various requests," he said. "If Ukraine sees Israel as a friendly nation and makes requests from it, then it needs to support us in the matters that are important to us just as Israel works with Ukraine on matters important to it."
In a UN vote in January on referring Israel to the International Court of Justice for its “occupation, settlement and annexation of Palestinian territory”, Ukraine voted against Israel in the draft and didn't cast a vote in the main round after its ambassador to Israel was summoned.

Please educate yourself, Israel was trying to work with Russia, so that they would be allowed to bomb Iranian positions in Syria. Russia arms Iran which supports Hamas.

Unless people in power (who think like you) do something stupid, those missiles are just gonna go on collecting dust as they have since the middle of the last century.
And as far as the Israelis go, they have enough firepower to obliterate Palestine ten times over. We’re also sending naval power to insure that no other nation decides to jump on the Palestinian bandwagon. *Spoiler Alert* Israel will be just fine.

So the real story is that Ukraine usually or "often" doesn't vote. That's the truth, and "often" is not 10%, so once again the headline is fake news.
That article also indicates that Israel is fine with countries that oppose them in the UN but buy a lot of weapons:
