Right, I figured that out.
I don’t think anybody really thinks of Israel or the Jews as bullies, so even though clever, I think it misses the point. The Jews have been trashed for 2000 years. Seems like this is just another song - “tongue-in cheek” - that trashes them again. I think it could even could play into the hands of Israel’s enemies.
I think he should be singing about the REAL neighborhood bullies - the Islamic Jihadists. Why is there a certain fear about doing something like that? The Islamic Jihadists already have a certain hold on a very fearful world.
Of course the REAL neighborhood bully is who the Bible says is “a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him...”
Timely in today’s news - the Palestinians (Hamas), “neighborhood bully” in Gaza, once again attacking Israel.
