One also has to consider what the Nazis plans were once they won the war.

One of the reasons that Hitler liquidated Ernst Rohm and the SA, was because they advocated a complete government takeover of German industry.

Hitler knew that scared off the industrialists that he needed to have in order to build his war machine. Once the SA was eliminated, he could assure them that the Nazis would eliminate the Communist threat.

Once the war was won and they were no longer needed, it’s very likely the industrialists fate would have matched that of the Jews, because in the long-term vision of the Nazi Party they had no role in it.

Hitler started off as a communist. He moderated himself until he got into power, by being a fascist. Once secure, he went back to his communist roots and started taking over the businesses and the unions.

Just like China, whether Hitler operated as a fascist or communist came down to the time of the day.
