You sound like a fool. You really trying to use “globalists” to defend Putin’s invasions of Ukraine, Georgia, Crimea and Kazakhstan? It’s like Himmler or Hitler babbling on about a Polish attack on the Gleiwitz radio tower. It is a pathetic and contemptible excuse for Russia’s military invasions of other countries.
Dear Mr. Floridian, like your "mom" and her go-to Biden-endorsing Ben Hodges,
I haven't used globalists to defend Putin's invasion. Period. Ergo you lied.
Care to cite anything that I have written to that end? Be my guest, by looking through the "In Forum" part of Free Republic. Search and cite, if you can.
I haven't defended Putin. Period. Ergo you lied a second time.
I am aware of many false flags, such as the Überfall auf den Sender Gleiwitz. Happy to see you are aware of it too.
There are more than two options by which to see this war, and to attempt to limit perspectives has been the game of those who refuse a third or fourth perspective.
Quote me: "Two non-NATO nations with a common border are at war, one having invaded another, and both are proven to be corrupt and thuggish. Period."
Demanding someone choose their favorite thug -- the weaker of the two because "underdog" is such a fine argument -- does not mean that a third perspective cannot be seen. I refuse to cheer for either. They -- these bloody belligerents -- will come to their conclusion as time passes. Today, tomorow or years from now.
But to accuse me of being a defender of Putin shows you cannot conceive of more than two stances. Another, which some Freepers evidence with "not my circus and not my clowns" or "not my flag and not my country," seems inconceivable to you apparently.
There are more than three differing views found in these threads. And when the Robinson dictum is played as a strategy in discussion and debate, what is assiduously ignored is his clear statement about this non-NATO war, there is within the tapestry of Free Republic "a difference of opinion whether or not the US government should be involved in a controversial foreign war where we were not attacked."
Yup. A difference of opinion. A controversial war. Involvement? Non-involvement? What is clear is that "we were not attacked."
I have a second stance re: this non-NATO war in the Urkaine between two non-NATO belligerents. It is that there has grown up a cottage industry of profiteers investing their "reporting" with the purpose of earning money via monetized YouTube channels AND many of them are resident here in our United States. In a similar manner, another set of threads promotes monetized X-Twitter channels with the same purpose. Clicks. Money. AdSense.
As Major General Butler observed long ago, "war is a racket." It is also a fool's game. And it is a game of thugs, marked with corruption on all sides. Meanwhile:
