Day 590 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine continues.

The russian federation continues to wage a war of aggression. Despite significant losses, it has not abandoned its plans to fully occupy Ukrainian territory.

The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, strikes and shells both military and civilian objects, which unfortunately results in civilian casualties.

The operational situation in east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

During the day of October 6, there were 28 combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 2 missile and 57 air strikes, 43 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Also, the russian federation launched yet another strike at Ukraine using 33 Iranian Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs. Air defense forces and means shot down 25 enemy Shaheds. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have killed and wounded civilians. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged.

VOLYN and POLISSYA AXIS: no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

SIVERSHCHYNA and SLOBOZHANSHCHYNA AXIS: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues to shell Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 15 settlements, including Vovkivka, Stepne, Novodmytrivka, Popivka (Sumy oblast), Vovchansk, Hatyshche, Zemlyanky (Kharkiv oblast).

KUPYANSK AXIS: the Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks in the vicinities of Synkivka and Ivanivka (Kharkiv oblast). The adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Podoly, Synkivka, Ivanivka, Petropavlivka (Kharkiv oblast). More than 15 settlements, including Kamyanka, Dvorichna, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, Berestove (Kharkiv oblast) came under artillery and mortar fire.

LYMAN AXIS: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 5 enemy attacks in the area east of Makiyivka (Luhansk oblast). The settlements of Pisky-Radkivski (Kharkiv oblast), Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Spirne and Vesele (Donetsk oblast) suffered enemy air strikes. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast) and Spirne, Rozdolivka, (Donetsk oblast).

BAKHMUT AXIS: the adversary made unsuccessful attempts to regain the lost ground in the vicinity of Andriyivka (Donetsk oblast). The invaders launched air strikes near Klishchiivka, Andriyivka (Donetsk oblast). More than 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka (Donetsk oblast).

AVDIYIVKA AXIS: the adversary launched an air strike near Avdiyivka. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Avdiyivka, Sjeverne, Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast).

MARYINKA AXIS: during the day of October 6, Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled about 10 enemy attacks in the vicinities of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). The adversary launched air strikes near Novomykhailivka and Kostyantynivka (Donetsk oblast). About 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobjeda, Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast) were under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.

SHAKHTARSKE AXIS: the Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks near Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast) and to the north of Pryiutne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The enemy launched an air strike in the vicinity of Vodyane. More than 10 settlements, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Urozhaine, Storozheve (Donetsk oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.

ZAPORIZHZHIA AXIS: the Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in the area northeast of Novoprokopivka. The occupiers launched an air strike Mala Tokmachka. More than 20 settlements, including Poltavka, Hulyaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, Pyatykhatky, Kamyanske (Zaporizhzhia oblast), came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

KHERSON AXIS: the enemy fired artillery and mortars at Antonivka (Kherson oblast) and the city of Kherson.

At the same time, the Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive operation on Melitopol axis and offensive (assault) operations on Bakhmut axis, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy all along the front line.

During the day of October 6, Ukrainian Air Force launched 11 air strikes on the concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment, 3 air strikes on the anti-aircraft missile systems of the adversary.

The Ukrainian missile troops hit 1 command post, 1 anti-aircraft missile system and 6x artillery systems, 1 concentration of troops, weapons and military equipment, 1 electronic warfare station of the russian invaders.
