Is decommissioning the same as abandoning (and creating navigation hazards)?
Mark 4 hours ago · 0 Likes
Decommissioning means utterly destroying the turbine and throwing it in a landfill which has already happened thousands of times and no turbines will be left by 2040. The relevant interest groups claim mass decommissioning will begin in two to seven years.
Manhattan Contrarian Ping.
.
How well do these turbines hold up to nor’easters and hurricanes?
if only the whole climate hoax could be debunked, once and for all. the following - if widely viewed - could help to wake people up.

Hunter now in the windmill business?
Save the whales!
Oh, well...you know....
Cool!
That thing held up well, until it didn’t.
“Well she’s no fun, she fell right over.”
Not to mention that they are trying to put electrical equipment in a highly corrosive salt water environment. What could possibly go wrong?
I had buddies that worked off shore on the rigs whose job title was chipping paint and painting. Same rig all shift, day in and day out.
What they don’t tell you is that they need to drill 300 feet deep in the bedrock for each windmill and that they also take fuel to operate. When they die - 10 years(?)- they don’t do anything to them but let them rot. They completely disrupt and destroy parts of the ecosystem all around including millions of seabirds.
Wind power, another wet dream from Marxists.
They don’t. Aside from the Hurricanes anyone who has every kept a boat in salt water can tell all the jokes about the the cost of ownership versus the cost to purchase. The maintenance and upkeep means they will never be viable. The people who are in this business know this and are looking for massive subsidies to make it work out business wise.
Sadly, the stupidity of the idea is no impediment to its government funding via subsidies, implementation, and eventual failure, with everyone (politicians and company executives alike) coming out a financial winner except the citizens whose taxes made it possible.
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority says:
“together, these projects total nearly 2,500 megawatts, enough to power 1.3 million homes. . . .”
2,500 divided by 1.3 is about 1923. So each home would get 1923 watts. A hair dryer uses 1875 watts. I have a 16,000 watt gas backup generator which is still not enough to run central air conditioning. When your government takes your money and lies about what they are doing with it, we have a serious problem. The money is going to corrupt government officials, there is no other explanation (e.g. Bob Menendez, probably he is the tip of the iceberg)
I absolutely appreciate the way you framed that.
It is madness to thinking people, but salivating dogma to the Left.
