How convenient- now truedow and ilk can arrest anyone who runs agaisnt them for office.
All they have to do now is claim that their opponent was “spreading malinformation” and arrest them, and viola- no more opposition candidate to contend with
One of my all-time favorite movies.
Those dirty bastards I wasn’t around. I will not and have not tolerated poor treatment of anyone Americans or Canadians coming in. I didn’t waste 10 years and go over for 3 tours so I could watch people be harassed at a border for no other reason than because they think they’re untouchable and have prejudices against things and people. I’ve also seen some non Albertans in Alberta harassing a couple from GA once. I was grabbing my morning coffee at a McDees and had the pleasure of witnessing this. Those non Albertans won’t be back, at least not in that city. Sometimes max aggression is needed. It’s a main route to Alaska and I’ve only run into a few retarded Obama/Biden supporters. Most I run into are real Americans. The border is a joke though and most of us are tired of their idiotic shenanigans that they seem to get a free pass for.
I’m telling you. So many people think Russia and its leader Putin are bad yet the way it looks to me Russia is becoming more of a democracy and the West a dictatorship. Those who do, open your eyes please.

Some years ago my husband drove up to Canada to deliver a trailer full of rifles to a police department. After doing mountains of paperwork to do this he gets to the border and they just waved him through. With a trailer full of firearms.
And you got hassled? Makes no sense at all.
One of them walked toward the Wall and the other one joined me on the small observation platform I was on. They both had binoculars and were looking at the guards in the big tower just beyond the Wall. The soldier with me then started waving at the guys in the East German tower (it was only about 50 yards away). As he was waving he said to me "they hate it when we do this".I asked him "do they ever wave back?" and he said "are you kidding?"

I've been treated far worse by US Customs at airports...and land borders...than I've ever been treated by Canadian Immigration/Customs.
However,I was once treated horribly by South African Immigration/Customs years ago (during apartheid).

And in Switzerland they just convicted a journalist to 60 days in jail for calling another journalist a “fat lesbian”!
