Gunnison is often to the coldest place in Colorado. We lived just east of there. The cold air from Gunnison would hug the ground and flows across our place. It was a sight to see a white cloud formation just a few hundred feet thick flow quickly across the ground.
The best trout fishing trip I ever had was with my dad all up around there for a week. We were more than ready for camping and fishing and I still remember that it was cold. And some beautiful brown and rainbow trout.
