I am not sure the death penalty is the answer but I am sure of my point mentioned above. Why not?
The death penalty for certain crimes was established by God, and it's not about retaliation or retribution, but justice for a very serious offense and a means to both definitely prevent recidivism and protect society.

Given that the “justice” system is implemented by the likes of Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Larry Krasner, Tanya Chukin, etc. I am not in favor of giving this system more opportunities to sentence people to death.
