Sounds like one I spoke to one time. I politely asked him what country he was from - India or Pakistan. He seemed offended by my question, when I was taking time out of my day to try to validate him as a person by engaging in small talk.
Just yesterday I had a call ostensibly from New Orleans. Normally I ignore calls from unknown numbers, but thought it might be fun. A voice with a heave Filipino accent (I’m very familiar with the accent; thank you US Navy) said caller was from a medical center and asked if I had pain in several areas of the body he listed. I replied “I have a pain in my ass; he’s 42 and I can send him to you for treatment.” Sadly the guy hung up.
