I think it's less than a 50/50 chance Biden will be the Dem nominee.

Incumbency is a HUGE advantage. The Dems would be stupid to deny it. In the last 100 years every incumbent ran, although LBJ dropped out.

Yep and incumbent Jimmy Carter, who had a better economic/domestics/foreign policy then Joe Biden lost in one of the top 5 the biggest landslide in US history

Biden is dead weight on the Democrat ticket. They know it. Their only hope is a 3rd party spoiler or Biden being unable to be on the ticket

I hope the Secret Service has it very best people on Biden. I would have them add coverage. It would be really useful to the Democrat political machine if something happened to Biden. Especially if they have a “MAGA extremist” to blame it on.

Truman could have run again in 1952 (the 22nd amendment did not apply to him) but he was very unpopular because of the stalemate in the Korean War and didn’t run. Wilson would have run for a third term in 1920 but the party wouldn’t hear of it (this was after his stroke). To be sure that’s more than 100 years ago.

1968 LBJ did not run
