Student loan repayment is deferred while the student is enrolled. Not buying this.

You can defer them after you graduate. I did this for a few years.

FWIW, my daughter’s undergrad loans did accrue interest while she was in medical school, grad school for MPH,residency, and then fellowship. 12 years of a lot of interest on the undergrad. Then 8 years of interest on the medical school. She was able to moonlight during fellowship and paid off a huge chunk of the undergrad during the freeze - but oh that med school is significant

She has a good job now, so they are waiting to enjoy her new salary and focusing on paying off the debt. You know, like what adults do. Instead of expecting others to pay it.
