The heavy offensive operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces continued again today effectively on all front lines. Clashes were simultaneously concentrated in strategic areas from Donbass to Zaporizhia and from this region to Crimea. Russia lost one of its most valuable fighter jets in this friendly fire. In fact, we have been witnessing such situations on the Ukrainian front lines, in Crimea and in parts of Russian cities since the beginning of the war. But this latest example has been particularly high-profile as we are at the most critical stage of the war. The exact area where Russia experienced this scandal was near Tokmak in the Zaporizhia region.

Offensive operations by Ukrainian forces had been going on there for a long time, often with air and artillery strikes. In the last few days, Ukrainians have destroyed a large number of Russian military installations in Tokmak. The Ukrainians have shifted their offensive plans to areas such as Tokmak and Melitopol, following the destruction of settlements such as Robotyne, Verbove and Novoprokopivka in Zaporizhia, worrying the Russians. In response to Ukraine’s offensive, Russia has deployed a significant number of troops and military equipment near Tokmak in the last few days. Putin’s forces have also deployed additional S-300 air defense batteries near Tokmak to counter missile and drone attacks by Ukrainian artillery units.

There were already Russian S-300 air defense systems in this direction. However, since the Ukrainians have so far destroyed more than 18 S-300 systems, the Russians were forced to add to these air defense systems. Intelligence reports suggest that the S-300 system deployed by Russian troops in the Tokmak direction was brought in over the past few months. With the presence of these air defense systems, Moscow has also put its Air Force in an active position on the southern front lines of Zaporizhia, Tokmak and Melitopol.

The Russians probably thought that the S-300 batteries would protect their fighter jets. Today, however, it turned out that this thesis was not true, but on the contrary, the Russian S-300 air defense systems have been involved in a brand new scandal in the Tokmak direction. Russian forces shot down their own SU-35 jet with the S-300 air defense system over Tokmak. A video recording showing the moment the S-300 Russian air defense system attacked the SU-35 jet was published on the Internet.

According to the footage, the invaders’ air defense shot down the aircraft, worth about $100 million. The Russian jet crashed in a field and burned completely. This mind-boggling friendly fire revealed Russia’s foolish war strategy. In this regard, today, the Russian aviation Z-blogger Fighterbomber published a photo of the Su-35, wishing the pilot endless flights. Thus confirming the death of the pilot of the Russian fighter jet. This unforgettable case proves how inefficient all Moscow’s war strategies have been so far and that there is no need for the Ukrainians to make efforts to destroy the military resources of the Russian forces. Instead of Ukrainian forces, the Russians managed to destroy their own military equipment, armored vehicles and fighter jets.

This was considered encouraging for the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ offensive plans in the Zaporizhia-Melitopol direction. In fact, after the Russians shot down their S-300 battery and SU-35 jet, the Ukrainians intensively activated their air force on the southern front lines and launched an effective reconnaissance and surveillance operation. In the last 24 hours, Ukrainian fighter jets have carried out 13 strikes against concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment. The Ukrainian Air Force’s efforts were followed by the destruction of two electronic warfare stations and an anti-aircraft missile system of the Russian military.

This situation has left Russian leader Vladimr Putin quite desperate. The Russians could not get enough of heavy losses. The Ukrainian gains and advances in Zaporizhia, Tokmak, Melitopol, Berdyansk and other southern front lines were driving Russia crazy. In addition to the Ukrainian gains on these front lines, mysterious explosions and fires in these regions proved that Moscow was indeed in trouble.
