I am not a pilot but I know enough that weight is a very important consideration when flying. My first thought on reading the story was that the plane had more weight then the plane could handle.
What is that saying, there are old pilots and there are bold pilots but there are very few bold old pilots.
I’m thinking that the payload (dead moose) may not have been properly secured and shifted rearward, changing the CG. Just a WAG.
