Don’t even mention “The Mask” around our twin 2nd graders.
Won’t say a word but you’ll get the bright green-eyed look of absolute damnation out of ‘em. Their sweet little Mommy’s pulled ‘em out of two schools that merely didn’t sound just right to her already and anyone hints at attempts to push masks/vaccines on the girls they’ll be homeschooling in a heartbeat.
They’re both already annoyed about not being able to have a free run in the library...”don’t even have most books we want to read” and the covid mess during Kindergarten is still a VERY bitter memory.
I will never forget the vid of those sweet little kids dancing and whooping when they heard their teacher say they could take the masks off.
So beautiful and so sad.
Their mother sounds like a treasure! The kids are lucky to have someone like her, and will do great in life.
