I’ve got a dunderhead on Truth Social that’s claiming that this was all Palestine long before it was Israel. Well, for a short period, there was a Palestine, but in the long term, it was jewish and Christian land before the false religion of Islam was even invented. I say invented, because it is a false religion with a false god, basically a murderous, totalitarian mandate masquerading as religion.

Anyway, I’d do better arguing if I had some good resources of historical fact about the area handy. I suppose I could just ignore the idiots. I mean, what are raggedy ones doing on Truth Social anyway?

I have this in my notes but I’m not sure who this is attributed to...

A crash course on history of PALESTINIAN STATE:
1. Before Israel, there was a British mandate, not a Palestinian state
2. Before the British Mandate, there was the Ottoman Empire, not a Palestinian state.
3. Before the Ottoman Empire, there was the Islamic state of the Mamluks of Egypt, not a Palestinian state.
4. Before the Islamic state of the Mamluks of Egypt, there was the Ayubid Arab-Kurdish Empire, not a Palestinian state.
5. Before the Ayubid Empire, there was the Frankish and Christian Kingdom of Jerusalem, not a Palestinian state.
6. Before the Kingdom of Jerusalem, there was the Umayyad and Fatimid empires, not a Palestinian state.
7. Before the Umayyad and Fatimid empires, there was the Byzantine empire, not a Palestinian state.
8. Before the Byzantine Empire, there were the Sassanids, not a Palestinian state.
9. Before the Sassanid Empire, there was the Byzantine Empire, not a Palestinian state.
10. Before the Byzantine Empire, there was the Roman Empire, not a Palestinian state.
11. Before the Roman Empire, there was the Hasmonean state, not a Palestinian state.
12. Before the Hasmonean state, there was the Seleucid, not a Palestinian state.
13. Before the Seleucid empire, there was the empire of Alexander the Great, not a Palestinian state.
14. Before the empire of Alexander the Great, there was the Persian empire, not a Palestinian state.
15. Before the Persian Empire, there was the Babylonian Empire, not a Palestinian state.
16. Before the Babylonian Empire, there were the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah, not a Palestinian state.
17. Before the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah, there was the Kingdom of Israel, not a Palestinian state.
18. Before the kingdom of Israel, there was the theocracy of the twelve tribes of Israel, not a Palestinian state.
19. Before the theocracy of the twelve tribes of Israel, there was an agglomeration of independent Canaanite city-kingdoms, not a Palestinian state.
20. Actually, in this piece of land there has been everything, EXCEPT A PALESTINIAN STATE.
Feel free to use this for the uneducated

There is also this article. You can search for the terms ...

palestine roman governor renamed hadrian

and find other sources that go into more detail. Bottom line is that after a Jewish revolt, the Roman governor wanted to not only subdue Judea, but he wanted to take away their heritage - including the name of their country. He asked his historians for the strongest historical enemy of the Jews and the answer came back as "The Philistines." The Philistines of The Old Testament did not have an Arab background; rather it is believed they were from the island of Crete or possibly Macedonia. THey tormented Judah and Israel as recorded in the book of Judges, I Kings, II Kings, I Chronicles, and II Chronicles.

So Hadrian forced the name "Philistia" onto the Jewish people. That name is Latin for, "Land of the Philistines."

This is why I find it so upsetting when I hear Pastors or other Christians refer to God's Chosen/Promised Land as Palestine, only to sound cool and edgy. They are actually blaspheming the name applied to God's promised land.

This false name was used during the centuries following and even during the late 1800s and into the mid-1900s even the few Jews who lived in the area had adopted the name. The current newspaper named, "The Jerusalem Post" was called, "The Palestinian Post" and The Palestinian Symphony was later renamed, The Jerusalem Symphony.

The Egyptian, Arafat, invented a history by conflating this make-believe history even to the point that he and his brother were "Palestinians."

By the way, this tact was advised by a Madison Ave public relations firm hired by Arafat during the 1960s. They told him that to gain the world's sympathy, he had to invent a history for Palestine. It worked after being supported by the media and academic fraudsters around the world.

As now deceased and Messianic Rabbi Zola Levitt often said, There is no history of Palestinian art, currency, literature, poetry, music, language, ... etc.

It's all a fabrication supported by the Jew-hating media. The Truth About 'Palestine'—Then and Now

Well, he's right...sorta, but that's exactly like saying there was a Midwest before it was South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri. etc.

Writings from 12th Century BC refer to Palestine, but it's merely a geographical location in that part of the world...not a muzzard enclave. It includes, Israel, Lebanon, part of Syria and part of Jordan.

So everyone born there, regardless of political borders, is a "Palestinian".
