My good, but non-freeper friend called the alert “obnoxious”. LOL

It’s good to know that just turning the ringer off doesn’t silence it.

I wonder if it is as loud if it comes while you’re actually using the phone as - a phone.

I forgot about it and didn't have my phone off.

My alert showed up at 4:19 EDT. Annoyingly it showed up first in Spanish and then in English.

No alert on the computer and the radio was off.

My phone was on vibrate and it made no noise, just a message on screen.

I had the volume on silent and put the phone in the other room to see if it would still make a sound. I didn’t hear a thing. Waited and then checked it and it had the notification showing. It didn’t say Presidential alert. It was a few lines about emergency test. I cleared it without really reading it.
