I thought conservatives held mostly traditional values. Was just talking to someone about how much greater this country was when mom’s were able to be there for and raise their own kids, complete with time to actually clean the environment and prepare more affordable, healthier meals. When they could focus on starting a family rather than the “career oriented” push of modern Western society. Back before chivalry died.
The federal government intentionally destroyed the family unit, setting itself up as “daddy” and income provider.
That left daddy to take care of himself and not care about the family unit.
And mommy and the kids were reliant on big government, and did whatever they said, in order to keep the gravy train rolling.
