Sorry, kid; but you’re wrong: Russia first invaded at the end of February, 2014, and illegally annexed Crimea about three weeks later. And it fomented a civil war by arming and supplying separatist movements in the Donbas region; and one of the provided weapons was eventually used to shoot down a civilian airliner (MH-17), killing all on board (about 300 people).

Yanukovych — who, by the way, had been a loyal Soviet communist until the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 — fled Ukraine in late February, 2014, and ran across the border to Russia, and the Rada (the Ukrainian Parliament, which included members of his own political party, the Party of Regions) voted to remove him from power and strip him of authority, and installed a temporary president until elections could be held. 328 of the 447 Rada deputies (some 73%) voted for his removal.

Those are facts, son; and facts seem to terrify you.
