I have felt that way since Reagan ran in 1980. Every four years, I would stew that Republicans were so stupid they would agree to these idiotic, biased (against them) events, when they should have been sitting them out.

“The GOP is slow and stupid.”

Your giving them credit they don’t deserve. They know exactly why they chose this format. They don’t care about elections. They can see as clearly as us that this is a clown show.

They assume you and I are too stupid to realize they are screwing us with these choices. They hope you and I will capitulate to one of these morons on stage and help the GOP keep their jobs while not actually achieving anything.

Once we all accept the Republican National CORPORATION is the sister organization of the Democrat National CORPORATION then we can remove them both from the conversation and start making progress.

Whatever

He’d have moderated a good debate. There’s no reason the gop can’t find a conservative moderator for a debate other than that they’re chicken or they’re not conservative, frightened of conservatives.

Rogan and PBD could host one on one Lincoln Douglas style debates with actual information.finalists could have a larger network debate.

“That the GOP never did that tells you all you need to know”

Yep, they never once even raised the possibility. Speaks volumes about not wanting the cold, hard truth exposed.

I saw a short clip of Christie attempting to call Trump a name. I guess Christie thought it was clever. It wasn’t.

“Glenn Beck says this is the worst debate of his lifetime”

The reality of political debate is that the forum has become a venue to air bumper-sticker one liners.

Out of that gaggle, which one was platforming the most? Ramaswamy?

Perhaps, however he was defending his CCP dealings, back when dealing with CCP was very common and considered a viable open market and made for smart business ventures. Lots of people didn’t necessarily agree with that strategy but that strategy existed nonetheless. Those who think it was an outlier are ignorant of the plain facts of the matter. The TRUMP corporate also had had business dealing with chicoms, as it was legal and acceptable to do so. To argue differently is a nothing burger, China revealed itself abd here we are...

It’s amazing what five or seven years will do to change the global business dynamic.
The other clowns on stage possessed no business experience at all and don’t really know what they’re talking about... and have taken the historical context to the absurd.

Is a political lawyer in the seat of the White House really neccessary?

I have always contended that a person from the business world, a manager, is probably a better selection however the lawyers in Congress will only think of death by 1000 cuts... and trashing the economy in the process.

only way to make this crap show work would be to put the candidates in sound-proof booths. Pipe in the comments of the other candidates and the moderators and turn off their microphones when they are not the ones who are supposed to be answering and commenting. This bickering with each other and talking over the others, and the moderators makes it look like it’s a 3 rd grade class but I hate to denigrate the 8 year olds !!
To me, Nikki Haley is a boisterous witch who thinks she wins by being a loud obnoxious boring, inconsiderate person.
Christi? Are you serious? Bull in a china shop thinking he can win the nomination over someone he attacks at any opportunity who has the support of 60% or more of the party.
Ramaswamy - if he was the second coming of Ronald Reagan to Abe Lincoln he would not get the nomination. The powers that be would never allow it !
Pence - Casper Milquetoast. Back to Indiana, no traction, too boring.
Burgham - Maybe a good governor but no space for him here.
Tim Scott - Overplays his life story and American Dream to the point of voter fatigue.
DeSantis - should have held his powder, supported Trump, finished his term as governor or accept a high level cabinet position and waited until 2028. The MAGA-Trumpers now will not forgive and forget come campaign in 2027 unless for some reason, President Trump comes out strongly for him by endorsing him and campaigns for him as his successor but I think that ship has sailed.

The interview on Fox with Kimberly Guilfoyle’s ex was bothersome and interesting. He’s slick, smiles through the interview and brushes off the tough questions in affable manner despite his socialist record and the disaster he’s maintained in the Peoples republic of California. I don’t get it, but suspect women, suburban or otherwise will likely find him “charming” kind of like they did with Clinton and despite his crazy positions will get more votes than he should. After he won a recall election convincingly.

It’s more than likely going to be Trump and either Biden who may be running from a memory-impaired unit or basement, Newsome, Michelle, or knees-down Harris. Believe this election will make the fraud perpetrated in 2020 look like Childs-play as they have learned that the courts are feckless to stop them, the “third estate” is complicit and the sheeple will believe them if they tout “the most honest election” loud enough and long enough.

It’s a shame. His blackboard days were enlightening.

Yes, I remember his two-day exposition of George Soros. It was "enlightening" and informative.
