I wish you health, fellow Ukrainians!
A report on the day. I held a meeting of the Staff. Several key points. The first is the actual situation at the front, our offensive and defensive operations. Important reports on the east and south. On the destruction of logistics and headquarters of the occupiers. There are good details. Loud details. I thank all the Ukrainian warriors who distinguished themselves!
The second issue is the supply of shells. This is a topic we are dealing with on a daily basis. Supplies from partners. Searching for new opportunities in the world — we know exactly how to secure supplies. And we are gradually increasing the volume of Ukrainian production. This is one of our top priorities.
Today, by the way, in addition to the reports at the meeting of the Staff, there was a separate meeting with the Ministry of Strategic Industries.
There was also a separate informative intelligence report on the situation in the Russian military-industrial complex. We clearly see the areas where pressure on Russia needs to be increased so that terrorist capabilities do not grow.
Sanctions are not enough. There will be more. There will be more of our own, Ukrainian actions against the terrorist state. As long as Russia’s aggression continues, Russia’s losses must be tangible. And, of course, our work with partners to end the war on Ukrainian terms, based on our Peace Formula. A totally fair one.
Today I met with the President of the National Council of Austria, who was on a visit to Ukraine.
We discussed in detail our efforts to get the world majority to join the implementation of the Peace Formula. And I appreciate Austria’s willingness to join in. Of course, we also discussed our European course. I spoke about Ukraine’s implementation of seven recommendations of the European Commission. And we rely on Austria’s continued support for Ukraine’s European integration.
One more thing.
Every day, Russian terrorists hit our cities and villages with missiles and “Shaheds”. Almost every night, dozens of drones and various types of missiles are destroyed in the Ukrainian sky. Unfortunately, there are hits. There is also falling debris... And our rescuers, our police, doctors, volunteers, utilities — all emergency services — are always working 24/7 to help people and save our infrastructure.
Today I want to thank these people who have distinguished themselves over the past weeks. In Odesa region, Poltava region, Cherkasy region.
Employees of the State Emergency Service of Odesa region: Chief Master Sergeant Oleksiy Zhaboriuk, Sergeant Serhiy Chobu, Sergeant Oleksandr Vieliev.
Odesa police officers: Colonel Vyacheslav Barba and Major Mykola Perekrestov.

Glory to Ukraine!

Russia is getting hit hard on the Ukrainian territory from a place it never expected. This time it is not only the southern frontlines of Ukraine, as we all expected. Today, the northern and eastern trenches of the country are also heavily involved in these critical clash areas. But the most critical news of the day comes again from Ukraine’s southern front lines.
Over the past weeks, Ukraine’s offensive in the south has accelerated and reached its peak. Ukrainian forces have been pressuring Tokmak and Melitopol through Verbove and Robtyne, sharply crushing the Russian Dragon-toothed defensive line. This week the Ukrainian breakthroughs became even sharper. Earlier, a 7km2 front line was opened from the left bank of Dnipro towards Tokmak, and Ukrainian forces advanced through this breach in the direction of Tokmak and Melitopol.
In about 15 days Ukrainian forces advanced another 4km, widening the breach. Ukrainian forces have managed to advance 11km vertically through the mined areas on the Russian Surovokin line and are expanding the breach in the line by taking small frontline villages in the vicinity.
Let’s take a closer look at how the Ukrainian army is making this progress in today’s hottest news.
FIRST, we go to Zaporizhia, one of the hottest frontlines of Kiev’s offensive. Important news welcomes us here. Ukrainian troops are advancing deep into the Zaporizhia region and attacking Novoprokopovka, a frontline village 1.5 kilometers south of this settlement. According to a geolocation video released today, forces of the 42 Motorized Rifle Division, 58 Combined Arms Army, Southern Military District routed soldiers of the Russian 70th Regiment on the northeastern outskirts of Novoprokopovka. This was the first confirmed Ukrainian ground offensive and ambush operation in the immediate vicinity of Novoprokopivka. The Ukrainians then cleared Russian positions between Robotyne and Novoprokopovka. However, Moscow officials reported that Russian troops repelled the Ukrainian offensive on northern Novoprokopovka.
Russian forces are trying to retain control of the trenches of the long line of Russian combat positions between Robotyne and Verbove, 10 km south of Orikhiv, especially the sections near the tactical heights in the south. Russian forces have reportedly established prepared fighting positions in almost every sector. But the forested area, where the Ukrainian infantry is slowly and systematically advancing, is one of the most dangerous for the Russians.
Russian troops have more field fortifications beyond Verbove. For example, there are more anti-tank trenches and fighting positions north of Ocheretovaty, 26 km southeast of Orikhiv. However, it is not clear how many Russian troops are in these positions. But another striking offensive action by Ukrainian forces today took place near Verbove, the area that the Russians are most confident about, the area that Vladimr Putin claims is one of their strongest lines of defense.
Ukrainian forces broke through the defenses of Russian forces near the village of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region. This critical news was reported by Oleksandr Tarnavsky, commander of the Tavria operational units. Tarnavsky notes that Ukrainian forces are moving more slowly than expected in this part of the front line. But the general leading the Ukrainian offensive on the Southern front predicts an even greater breakthrough in the future.
In addition to Ukrainian sources, there were also independent sources confirming the breakthrough of the last intact Russian defense lines in Verbove. OSINT analysts report that Ukrainian mechanized units have broken through the Russian defensive line near Verbove. Such a conclusion was reached on the basis of photos and videos published by the Russians from the front line.
At the moment, the Ukrainian army is faced with the task of consolidating its positions and holding them under attack by Russian counterattacks. It is also necessary to expand the bridgehead behind the fortification line to allow Ukrainian forces to maneuver deeper into Russian-occupied territory. To achieve this goal, the Ukrainian Armed Forces must continue their offensive in the winter and carry out studies and military preparations to achieve the biggest breakthrough.
Heavy rains in the fall can make the ground in Ukraine wet and slow down the movement of heavy machinery such as tanks. However, Tarnavsky reports that Ukrainian forces move in small groups, mostly on foot, so he does not think that weather conditions will have much impact on the advance.
