so it’s better to compare him to Eddie Matthews than Mike Schmidt.

I was going to say something along the same lines. Personally, I would take Matthews' superior bat (particularly, power) over Robinson's superior glove. However, I'd be satisfied with either as 3B on my team.

Brooks Robinson will be missed. He was a good guy. RIP

1970 World Series, he was on it. RIP.

He destroyed my Reds in that series. I was 11 and brokenhearted. LoL
