I like old coins..and have traded some and bot some. MS state coins too.

Had some years ago...I should have never sold. Ha!!

I have some silver rounds...just a hedge. Going around 23 or so an oz. Metals are weird right now......

But old coins are nice and many are worth a lot of money.

“Had some years ago...I should have never sold. Ha!!”

No kidding. My grandfather on my mom’s side always gave us kids silver dollars when we visited in the 50s and 60s. Silver dollars were all over Idaho at the time. He’d pull the out of our ears and we’d laugh in amazement!

I kept all the Morgan and Peace silver dollars he gifted to us and I had quite a collection. Then, when I was about 16 or 17 and going on a big date, I cashed them all in.

I have no idea who the special gal was, but I sure do miss having all those gorgeous Morgan and Peace dollars.

No silver dollar coins were minted in the U.S. from 1905-1920. Peace Dollars, from their high relief origins in 1921 to their Great Depression discontinuation in 1935. No silver dollar coins were struck by the Mint and issued into circulation after 1935.

I miss Granddad and those great gifts. As they say, “Too soon old, too late smart.”
