But where is it required to sit the National Anthem?

If that were some sort of standard, you could pretty much forget about sports at every level.

The team heads are required to enforce this. Anything otherwise is worthy of the country’s disgust. The team is responsible to not allow players who disrespect tge flag/country while in uniform and at an official function to not allow these people to be captains of tge team

The fans and spectators are required by their pledge of allegiance to the flag and country to turn it off and not participate
