It was his opinion, and therefore not meaningless to some. Unless the forum rules begin to adjudicate opinions, it was his opinion even if you think it "no opinion." That was his right, and this is your right.
I've already commented with avenues for you to make your complaint to other than me. If you feel it necessary, do so.

It was his opinion that he had no opinion. How does that contribute to the discussion? It doesn’t. FR is a forum for discussion; I don’t think JR created it for disinterest or ambivalence.
