There's a few qualifications involved there. It's not like you can just pack up and leave.

It's not withholding relations in the relationship which is probably what most may think abandonment is.

There is absndonment somebody leaves and does not return. There is also abandonment within a marriage, where one spouse would rather attend to their interests instead of their spouse.
