The smart Jews didn’t “protest”. The Smart ones got out of Germany while they still could. And it was a tough decision because they left a lot behind. Yes, but they did have other places to go to.
That window is closing here in the US.
If things don't turn around soon, there will be no place left to get out to.

Well, you’re absolutely right, you can’t eliminate the risk nowadays but only mitigate it. That’s why i, 12 years ago, I left Seattle for 32 acres in South Central kentucky. I’m not completely out of the woods, but the scariest scene I’ve ever seen in a movie is the first scene in inglourious basterds. That could almost be my home. But I have indoor plumbing and Air conditioning. 😁
