22 Sep: Ukrainians WIPED OUT Russian Black Sea Fleet HQ in Most Massive SCALP Strike | Ukraine War
In the war between Russia and Ukraine, all eyes are turning to Crimea again today.
Last week, Ukrainian attacks destroyed Russia’s Black Sea Fleet.
In addition to the attacks on the Black Sea Fleet, the Russian S 400 air defense system was destroyed in a unique operation in Yevpatoria. The latest strikes show that Ukraine’s attacks on Russia’s Black Sea Fleet penetrated the defenses and hit the targets precisely.
This renews Russia’s concerns about the vulnerability of the Crimean Bridge. Before Russia could recover from the shock of these attacks and lick its wounds, it was hit again today. While the day started with good news for Ukraine, it was not so good for Russia.
Today Ukrainian Armed Forces conducting one of the most massive drones and missiles attack on Crimea. There were also explosions at Moscow airport and Sochi airport in Krasnador. [**Suspect more Russian saboteur activity??]
Today, the command of the Russian navy was dealt a devastating blow. In addition to the finishing blow, numerous attacks on the Russian Black Sea Fleet have been reported in the last 24 hours. The Ukrainians staged an incredible operation, inflicting on the Russian federation perhaps the biggest loss of naval officers since World War II.
I say maybe because the attack is so recent. Footage of the attack has been released. There are reports coming from Ukraine and Russia. It is claimed that Russian Admiral Viktor Sokolov was killed as a result of the attack on the Sevastopol navy with the Storm Shadow missile.
It is claimed that the Storm shadow missile hit exactly the fleet admiral’s cabin. However, all the details are not yet known. We will share with you the details we can reach about the attack in a moment.
Ukraine managed to destroy a Russian naval base in Sevastopol in Crimea and forced the evacuation of the Russian navy from Crimea. Ukrainian aircraft and missiles also rumbled over Russian targets all over Crimea, including Belbek airport. Residents of many cities report explosions and the sound of flying UAVs.
Earlier today, the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully hit a command post of the Russian Black Sea Fleet near the Crimean city of Sevastopol. The command post is located near Verkhniosadove.
The Strategic Communications Department of the Supreme Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in a post on Telegram. According to our sources in the Security Service of Ukraine, the military base was destroyed by missiles that hit the target accurately.
This was a joint special operation carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine, the Air Force and the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Russian generals have designated this base as a backup command center so that they cannot be reached from the main deployment area. The attack was launched after the Security Service confirmed that the enemy fleet commanders were indeed in the military unit.
The enemy manpower and expensive military systems at this base were affected.
The representative of the Ukrainian military intelligence, Andriy Yusov, confirmed that missile strikes were carried out on the locations of the occupiers’ military equipment in Crimea. Yusov promised to provide more detailed information on the results of the strikes later.
So, less than 24 hours after this announcement, Ukraine reportedly struck the main headquarters of the Russian navy with missiles. Footage of the attack was quickly confirmed after being posted on social media. The video, posted on social media on Friday, verified by Storyful and confirmed by The Washington Post, shows smoke rising from the Black Sea Fleet headquarters.
Ukraine struck the headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet in a missile attack Friday that left a serviceman missing and the main building smoldering, according to military officials on both sides of the war and images from the scene in Crimea.
The Russian Defense Ministry initially said one service member was killed but then issued a statement saying he was missing following the attack in the port city of Sevastopol.
Russian Admiral Viktor Sokolov was allegedly killed as a result of the attack on the Sevastopol navy with the Storm Shadow missile. It is also believed that the operation was supported by the US MQ-4C drone in the Black Sea.
A request was received from the ambulance stations to place 40 wounded - mainly officers - in the hospitals of the city of Sevastopol. The number of dead officers is hidden, Sevastopol publics report.
Ukrainian drone strikes on Crimea also continued, with residents reporting explosions near Sevastopol and Belbek airports. Explosions were also reported near the city of Inkerman and the Belbek and Kacha airports. Smoke was noticed in the occupied Inkerman after 12.00.
Zelensky’s war appears to be on the brink. After a letdown stint at the UN assembly in New York, he’s now in Washington on the last leg of his begging journey to ensure the continuation of the war.Unfortunately so far, it’s not going very well.
...
But these developments still represent a major down trend for Ukraine’s trajectory. And since this is merely a result of one failed offensive season, the proceedings are indicative of what will happen deep into next year, once Ukraine is even further along those dire straits.

There is no realistic basis, therefore, to believe that Ukraine has the capacity to attain its stated strategic objective to reclaim all its territory, including Crimea. What is realistic is to continue providing Kyiv with the military wherewithal to defend itself from further Russian incursions. This goal should be combined with shifting an increasing percentage of the burden for additional arms and ammunition to our rich European friends. The U.S. should continue to ensure the war does not expand beyond the borders of Ukraine, and increase diplomatic efforts with all relevant parties to end the war on the best terms possible for Kyiv—all of which are beneficial to American interests.
