I saw AC 3 times at our local jazz club here in Dayton,OH - incredible show every time!
He always had a twinkle in his eye and looked like he was always having a good time.

I just read his bio on Wikipedia. Died at 61 after a 3 month battle with cancer. Wonderful, I just turned 61
