The US is the world’s biggest debtor nation. We have already borrowed close to $200 billion to wage this proxy war. With a $33 trillion national debt, we can ill-afford to fund this war and when it is over, to send the bulk of the estimated trillion dollars to rebuild Ukraine.

We have added $2 trillion to the national debt this fiscal year ending September 23. Debt servicing costs alone are over $600 billion annually, approaching what we spend on defense.

Over the last 5 years, the US has added a total of $11.5 trillion in debt. At the same time, we are on track for $1 trillion in annual interest expense. Interest will soon be the US government’s biggest expense.

It gets worse. The Medicare Trust fund is exhausted in 2028 and the SSTF in 2034. Together they represent an unfunded liability of over $100 trillion. 40% of all Medicare costs come from the General Fund now. 10,000 baby boomers turn 65 every day until 2030.

We have no treaty obligation to defend Ukraine. Do you support putting American troops on the ground to prevent a Russian victory? If you do, we risk a nuclear confrontation that could devastate our country.

If you don’t support direct US military intervention, then you are a hypocrite who would sacrifice Ukrainian lives in an effort to weaken Russia. Proxy wars are immoral. We can end this war by forcing Ukraine to negotiate an end to a war they can’t win. This war has been ongoing since 2014.

You were against Reagan supporting Iraq during the Iran-Iraq War?
