Peace does not benefit Zelensky. He can officially function as an unelected dictator so long as this civil war continues. He does not want to face an electorate that 80% holds him responsible for the corruption of the Ukraine. Zelensky has continuously refused to support peace talks. We should not be providing him with any support, financial or militarily, period.

Why didn't the Japanese and the U.S. do this on December 8, 1941? The Pacific War could have been stopped right there! If only cooler heads had prevailed!

No doubt war-mongers were at fault.
