And you are correct. Stalin and Mao killed many more.
Never knew until recently that the Nazis captured Stalin’s eldest son, Yakov Dzhugashvili, on the battlefield, and he died in captivity. Also, the Russians captured Hitler’s favorite nephew, Heinz Hitler and he died in a Russian prison before the end of the war too. Stalin was angry at his son for having surrendered to the Germans, and refused to accept a prisoner exchange offer from Hitler to have his son released in return for the release of Hitler’s nephew.

What people think they know about history and what actually happened are often at odds.
Sanger was a proponent of birth control in the early 1900s when there were laws against any kind of birth control.
She was a birth control advocate, not an abortion pusher. One of her arguments in favor of legalizing birth control was that it would prevent women from seeking abortions.
In her retirement she was an important figure in the Tucson AZ Republican Women’s Club.
True. The twentieth century was the century of butchers. Hopefully it will never be surpassed.
He was ahead of Pol Pot, though. Had more people to kill. All Pol had were Cambodians. Robespierre was pretty bad, too, as was Bogdan Chmelnicki, Genghis Khan and Atilla the Hun. But Hitler’s in the same league as Mao, Stalin and Sanger.
