If the Okra’s fresh and fried in butter, that’s good. Re-heated, it’s often very slimy and nasty. Dump it into the compost pile!

If the Okra’s fresh and fried in butter, that’s good. Re-heated, it’s often very slimy and nasty. I also add corn meal to the mixture to tamp down the slime if it arises.
It's almost like corn bread, but not quite.
