“Libs Of TikTok” makes its points but who’s ultimately behind it I say it’s about intelligence community objectives like demonizing the country that happens to own TikTok.

Haven’t they heard of the First Amendment or is demonizing China more important.
Heck I already know China is Communist but I guess there has to be some Deep State campaign to convince others of it.
Think state of Texas has ban Tik Tok on state devices. I think that is fine for the state to make a call on that.
It’s not for the individual, which is fine too. If one wants to let China look at your data, maybe get into your bank accounts or whatever, knock yourself out. None of my biz.
Temu is another. Not only do you directly support China with purchases, you also allow the same harvesting of data.
