The European Commission says it has a ten-point plan to fix this, but on some points will likely make it worse. No wonder the Italians are protesting.
Supposedly, the European Union has gotten everything all patched up with Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who vowed to dispatch the Italian navy to the Tunisian coast if nothing was being done about the huge crush of migrants flooding the Italian island of Lampedusa and now Sicily.
European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen came to Lampedusa (give her credit for not being Kamala Harris) to present the Italians with the EC's supposedly tough "10 Point Plan" for resolution. The Italians were supposed to gratefully receive it ... which is what you get when you entrust your sovereignty to the EU. It wasn't terribly optimism-giving, but here we are.
On the good side, unlike what Joe Biden and his team have come up with on the border, it didn't gaslight the problem or blame President Trump, so give them that.
But it sure as heck didn't sound like the immediate action Meloni was demanding. Some of it was good, some of it was pure lumbering bureaucracy humbug, and some of it was bound to make the problem worse. The 10 points are here:
1. Reinforce the support to Italy by the European Union Asylum Agency (EUAA) and the European Border and Coast Guard (Frontex) to manage the high number of migrants to ensure registration of arrivals, fingerprinting, debriefing and referral to the appropriate authorities.
2. Support the transfer of people out of Lampedusa, including to other Member States using the voluntary solidarity mechanism and with particular attention to unaccompanied minors and women.
3. Step up returns by undertaking a renewed, concerted outreach to the main countries of origin of the new arrivals...

Optimist that I an, I’ve always thought, “It could be worse here, all our invaders could be Mooselimbs”.
I’d rather have a Mexican invader than a mooselimb any day, I realize some of the former want to kill me but all of the latter do.
By the way, yes, I do know that the mooses come in from the southern border too.
Meloni just needs to start sending these people en masse to Brussels.

It is so obvious the One World order is trying to turn the whole world into a 3rd world country.
The problem is that a large majority of the illegal immigrants coming in through our southern border were not born in Mexico. Most of the Latinos coming in are from Central and South America. In addition, there are people coming from almost every African and poor Asian country.
The Mexican Cartels are making more money smuggling people now than they are drugs. People pay $2500 or more per person to be brought to the USA.
Along the way most of the women are raped. Some are left for dead. Many end up in Whore houses operated by the Cartels in the USA.
As pointed out in the movie(The Sound of Freedom) you can sell a drug ONCE. You can sell a human hundreds of times over a four to six year period. Until they are used up and then finally killed or die of a drug overdose.
Official DC knows all this and still allows it.
The cartels have paid off enough people to make all this happen.
I read all ten points. The list can be boiled down to just three words:
Do nothing substantial.
I will now present my own list. It’s much simpler.
1. Use your navy to defend the coast.
2. Round up all illegals.
3. Deport all illegals.
Will the EU adopt any of those? Of course not. Bye, Europe.
The Islamic goal:
Invade a country
Destroy the present government
Establish a Caliphate under Sharia Law
Their religion demands that.
These people are so stupid. Wait until Sharia law’s in full swing. Especially you women “leaders”. You’ll be draped head to toe in a sack, relegated to baby making and keeping the kitchen in working order.
I say, every supporter of open boarders and ‘compassion’ for asylum seekers foot the ENTIRE bill for all/any necessay assistance to illegals.
Let the rest of the population, who oppose the open boarders policies, off the hook.
