Breaking news relevant to only 100 Americans: The U.S. Senate will no longer enforce its dress code for members.
Is this yet another sign of constitutional decadence, or is it a step into modernity for the fusty, antiquated chamber? Either way, it’s the best news ever for Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.), who would prefer to do business while looking like he’s on a Saturday-morning jog.
Not everyone is happy.
“The Senate chamber isn’t your home, a gym, or an outdoor park,” wrote former congressman Justin Amash (I-Mich.) in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. “If you can’t dress professionally for work on the floor of the Senate of the United States, then do us all a favor and get a different job.”

All republicans in the Senate should show up wearing an old dirty hoodie and nasty never washed gym shorts, cheap sneakers with no socks.
They can hang out on the floor of the Senate and see if prog media will put TV cameras on them.

It's funny how all the Fettermen dress the same way.

If Republicans have any gonads at all, they can make Schumer bitterly regret this.

The turnaround will benefit senators such as Fetterman, who often sports droopy basketball shorts and roomy hooded sweatshirts. Fetterman did not respond to a request for comment.Wait til the first non-Fetterman "roomy hooded sweatshirt" shows up on the Senate floor under the C-Span cameras.

I’d like to see them all show up in costumes resembling what men wore to the signing of the Constitution……

Did schumer relax the dress code to continue to maintain the image of the fetterman persona?
Where did the original fetterman go for several weeks to be treated for some ?? Undisclosed ailment?
Where did his pushie commie wife go off to?
Conversation with the old fetterman made brandon sound cognizant & even intelligent by comparison.
This new fetterman person looks different & sounds different than the original fetterman, imo.
This new guy can string a few words together into a fairly understandable sentence.
The hoodie and gym shorts are necessary parts of the costume to sell this new character as fetterman.

When in the likely not too distant future we are subject to the DemRINO uniparty full destruction of the UnitedStates, we will have seen its’ 2001 monkey/ape precedent in the United States Senate.
