Keeping up would mean knowing what the fake claim was.
This is not what Pence said “””We have a former VP of the USA openly talking about US Ground Troops having to fight in Ukraine if Russia wins”””
I hope post 38 and 39 clears it up for you.
Indeed. And saying what was said wasn't said.
"Former Vice President Mike Pence said Tuesday that the United States could find itself sending military troops to fight Vladimir Putin's forces if Ukraine loses its war against Russia."“I’m convinced that if the Ukrainian military doesn’t stop and repel that Russian invasion, it’s not going to be too long before that Russian army crosses a border that our men and women in uniform are going to have to go and fight (for) under our NATO Treaty. I truly believe it...”
"If Ukraine is defeated in the war, the U.S. will have to send troops to fight Russia's further aggression, former Vice President Mike Pence said on the Hugh Hewitt Show on July 5.">
This is bizarre, you read all this and you see a quote of him “openly talking about US Ground Troops having to fight in Ukraine”?
People believe what they want to believe, no amount of evidence or history will change that, you would hope that changes at some point before it’s too late and 10s of thousands of US Troops maybe many more are killed in a war that has already claimed thousands of others and basically destroyed an entire country.
I fear if this war in Ukraine continues until after the 2024 election and another warmonger gets elected, we will have US Troops involved quickly afterwards.
Depending on how insane the warmongers in Washington are, this could happen before the 2024 election, stage some type of false flag operation, one of our NATO allies does something foolish, or any number of other things happen, the US could get involved earlier, you can anticipate what could happen next, use the same emergency powers to clamp down on the population like during Covid.
Either situation would be complete disasters.
Another Freeper provided everything you need in post #43.
Yup,
“I'm convinced that if the Ukrainian military doesn't stop and repel that Russian invasion, it's not going to be too long before that Russian army crosses a border that our men and women in uniform are going to have to go and fight under our NATO Treaty,” Mr. Pence said during a town hall-style interview with NewsNation on Wednesday. “I truly believe it. Whether that's Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, … Poland, I don't know.” Epoch Times, September 15, 2023

And since reading what was said and reported might not be enough, here is the link to the entire "Mike Pence town hall on NewsNation" on YouTube. You can hear it from the "horse's mouth," if you want.

No, he didn’t.
We know what Pence said and post 43 doesn’t dispute that, Pence said that if Russia invades NATO we would have to fight Russia, Pence did not say we would have to fight in Ukraine.
You can’t read his quote and realize that he didn’t say “”US Ground Troops having to fight in Ukraine””?
How do you keep seeing American troops in Ukraine?
I keep posting that same quote and you guys keep seeing “”US Ground Troops having to fight in Ukraine””

Where are you guys seeing “”US Ground Troops having to fight in Ukraine””?
Yes, he did but I’m not going to continue to debate someone who won’t admit they are wrong for whatever reason I don’t know, but it’s pointless to continue with a debate over something which is objectively true, like my original point.
If Pence said “US Ground Troops having to fight in Ukraine” then show it to us.
I and others keep posting his quote to you and it doesn’t say that at all.
“I’m convinced that if the Ukrainian military doesn’t stop and repel that Russian invasion, it’s not going to be too long before that Russian army crosses a border that our men and women in uniform are going to have to go and fight under our NATO Treaty,” Pence said.
“I truly believe it. Whether that’s Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania… Poland, I don’t know.”
So clever. Now you are down to debating the verbiage, but Pence has imagined US troops having to fight in Ukraine. One has him on video saying that.
Oh, he didn't "ground?" A-ha! Gotcha moment for you! So you think?
He said verbatim, "our men and women in uniform are going to have to go and fight" but he didn't say "ground!
Quite the picayune argument.
It’s completely over when a person replies to something by posting the obvious response inside their post.
I don’t have answer anything because you did for me.
That’s a first on FR for me.
“our men and women in uniform are going to have to go and fight”
In NATO countries if Russia invades, not “Ukraine”.
Do you even read post 24 before you went off with your rambling gibberish?

No we don’t, why would make up things?

It is very short, will you show me the part “”about US Ground Troops having to fight in Ukraine””?
Even you can understand that US Men and Women may have to fight in Ukraine means ground troops, unless of course we have robots or some other form of warfare not involving troops.
How does fighting in Ukraine even come up from what he said?
He never said anything about Americans or any other NATO people fighting in Ukraine.
Are you then suggesting we are going to follow the Bush 41 war strategy of driving Iraq out of Kuwait and stopping.
The reason we would fight in Ukraine is because that’s where the Russians are, if for some reason they crossed over into Poland or some other NATO country and the US sent ground troops into the battle, assuming the US prevailed, do you think for one second, we would stop at the border of Ukraine after driving the Russians out of Poland or some other NATOR country.
There would warmongers in Washington, perhaps you would be one of them demanding we drive the Russians all the way back to Moscow.

My solution -- I speak only for me -- "do not ping me again," and I will not ping you.
